Once upon a time, in a peaceful little corner of the countryside, a group of creative friends gathered for four magical days of crafting, laughter and friendship…

Join Captured Hearts Australia for Once Upon a Scrapbook, a whimsical fairy-tale inspired creative retreat where storybooks come to life—with a crafty twist!

Step away from the everyday and enter a world of enchanted forests, magical kingdoms, fairy-tale challenges and creative adventures, all while enjoying plenty of uninterrupted time to scrapbook, make cards, journal, create mixed media projects…or simply work on whatever makes your creative heart happy.

Across four wonderful days, we'll journey through a different chapter of our fairy tale, with themed activities, creative challenges, games, surprises and plenty of magical little touches along the way.

Whether you're a princess, a wicked queen, a fairy godmother or simply a crafter who would happily trade her glass slippers for six feet of uninterrupted crafting space, your creative happily ever after awaits! 👑✂️

🌹 Thursday – Once Upon a Time…
Every great story has a beginning. Open the storybook, settle into your creative kingdom and let the adventure begin.

🌲 Friday – Into the Enchanted Forest
Follow the creative path into a world of woodland magic, hidden treasures and a sprinkling of fairy dust.

👑 Saturday – Crafting in the Kingdom
It's time to create something fit for royalty! Expect crowns, castles, sparkle and plenty of fairy-tale fun.

✨ Sunday – Happily Ever Crafter
Celebrate everything you've created, the memories you've made and the friendships that make our retreats so special.

🖌️ What's Included

✨ 4 full days of creativity in our spacious activity hall, complete with air-conditioning and a fireplace for those cooler evenings.

✂️ Your own 6-foot table, giving you plenty of room to spread out, create and leave your supplies set up for the retreat.

🏡 3 nights' accommodation in country-style, air-conditioned cabins. Cabins sleep three guests and include ensuites and kitchenettes.

☕ Morning & afternoon tea each day, plus tea, coffee and milk throughout the retreat, including access to our Nespresso pod machine.

👑 Fairy-tale themed fun with creative challenges, games, dress-ups and magical surprises throughout the weekend.

And, of course, plenty of time to relax, laugh, create and enjoy the company of a wonderful community of fellow crafters.

🍽️ BYO Main Meals

We've got the snacks and drinks covered—you simply need to bring your own breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

Cabin kitchenettes make it easy to bring along your favourite meals and enjoy the weekend your way.

🌳 Our Creative Kingdom

We'll be escaping to Perseverance Dam Recreation Centre, a peaceful bushland retreat located just 30 minutes north of Toowoomba and 30 minutes west of Esk.

It's the perfect setting to leave everyday life behind for a few days, unpack your craft supplies and lose yourself in creativity.

Please Note: A cancellation fee applies to all camp bookings. Cancellations made more than 2 months before the camp start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 2 months of the camp start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
